Apartments at Cairns Beach Resort are fully self contained and provide guests with the ability to self cater. For those times when you want to eat out there are many choices.

Holloways Beach has the only absolute beachfront dining venues in Cairns. ’Straight On The Beach’ is an informal cafe, and 'Coolums' is more upmarket in terms of both food & venue, but remains charming & casual.

Both the café and restaurant are right in front of the public beach swimming enclosure, just across the road from the Resort.

Coolums On The Beach
Our resort beachfront restaurant, Coolums on the Beach, is a genuine Beachfront Restaurant and Bar. This is a wonderful spot to enjoy some good food and wine while looking out over a picture perfect sea view. Sundays are music afternoons so if it is to your taste, allow for a few extra hours of relaxation. Coolums is open for Breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday and for evening meals seven nights a week. Coolums is the perfect setting for a romantic dinner or long lazy Sunday lunch

 

Straight On The Beach Café
Just Metres away from the water, Straight on the Beach is a great spot for breakfast & lunch providing outdoor dining in a garden setting. The ambience is laid back eclectic with natural timber tables and chairs. The Café has a bar and serves all types of café food. Opening Hours are 0730 to 1830 seven days a week.

 

 

Holloways Pizza
One block from the Resort is Holloways Pizza and Pasta, run by an Italian family who make the best pizzas in town. This is a BYO restaurant and you can also have your meal delivered to the resort if you’re feeling particularly relaxed.

The Bamboo Hut
One block from the Resort, this establishment is operated by an enthusiastic couple who are good cooks. There is the range of takeaway foods, chicken, hamburgers etc and they do excellent Barramundi fillets in season, which, with a fresh salad, make an excellent light meal. The home made desserts are great and will finish off a meal very nicely.

Australian Football Club
For those seeking a club atmosphere and club prices there is the Holloways AFL club. This is a 15 minute walk from the Resort and has bars, restaurant, poker machines etc. Good value for money.

Yorkeys Knob Boat Club
Yorkeys Knob is the next beach north of Holloways, and the Boat Club Marina has an excellent restaurant situated right on the marina. The club will send a courtesy bus to pick you up at the Resort and to return you after you have finished dining.

Cairns Beach Resort Poolside Fine Dining BBQ
Each Tuesday night there is a white table cloth dining experience poolside at the Resort. You place your food orders before hand and indicate the time you would like to eat. The Chef will prepare your meal and serve it to you.  White tablecloths candles and the tropical gardens make this a memorable experience.
